Aaron Tyler Bennett, 35, of Abilene passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024, in an Abilene hospital. A memorial / visitation will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde.

Aaron was born January 25, 1989, in Abilene to Mark and Nancy (Sheppard) Bennett. He attended Hawley ISD from kindergarten until graduation. He worked for Abilene Painting & Associates, Accent Painting and Knight Painting. Aaron loved to bowl and bowled on several leagues at Abilene Bowling Lanes.

He is survived by his mother, Nancy Bennett of Fort Phantom; his fiancé, Katey Anthony; uncles and aunts, Wes and Terrie Bennett of Abilene, Mike and Jeannie Bennett of Lubbock, Roxanne Hello of Abilene, Bobby and Becky Sheppard of Fort Phantom, Gary and Barbara Hagler of Fort Phantom, Thomas Rock of Eula and Mary Sheppard of Abilene; stepchildren, Imerald, Tony and June and many other relatives and friends.

Aaron was preceded in death by his father, Mark Bennett; brother, Travis Bennett; grandparents, Duane and Lynda Bennett and Bill and Bonnie Sheppard; uncle, John Hello and cousin-in-law, Cody Sylvest.
