Albert Lawrence Gregware, Jr., 69, of Clyde, Texas and Troy, New York, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 27, 2022. A private family service will be held under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde.

Albert was born August 21, 1952, in Troy, New York to Albert L. Gregware, Sr. and Doris M. (Honsinger) Gregware. He attended Schools in Troy, New York and received many trade certificates at HVCC. Albert retired from AlTech Specialty Steel in Watervliet, New York, where he worked as a steel mill maintenance operator for many years. Al was an avid sportsman and a member of the Pleasantdale Gun Club and Brunswick Rod and Gun Club.

He is survived by two sons, William Gregware, Sr. and wife Jessica and Albert Gregware, III and wife Shannon, all of Eula; daughter, Rose Barcomb and husband Joe of Eula; sisters, Patricia Cook and Lori Gregware-Greenough both of Troy, NY; grandchildren, Autumn Monk, William Gregware, Jr., Rosie Gregware and Carla Gregware, Jordan, Austin and Selah Barcomb; and great-grandchildren, Abigail, McKinley, Harley and Noah Monk.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lore (Ratz) Gregware; sister, Bernice Halloran and three brothers-in-laws, William Halloran, David Cook and John Greenough.
