Alfred Leon Shipley died Saturday, November 30, 2024, at his home in Eula.  A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Alfred was born in Pampa, Texas, to Murvel and Nora Jane (Baker) Shipley.  He grew up in Abilene and graduated from North Abilene High School.  He married Alma Faye Meeks on October 7, 1954, in Abilene and they moved to Eula in 1978.  Alfred owned A-Quick Reddy Pest Control in Abilene and was a member of Church on the Rock.

Alfred is survived by his son, Billy Randal Shipley and wife Donna Kay of Eula; two daughters, Viola Jane Camburides and husband Tony Demetrius of Virginia and Sandy Sue Hardin and husband James Ray of Eula; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Faye Shipley, and three sisters.
