Angela Renee Waggoner, 42, died Monday, May 11, 2020 in Abilene, Texas after a short battle with cancer. She was surrounded by family. Born to Rod and Debra Waggoner on September 1, 1977, she grew up and spent her life in Clyde, Texas. She was a member of the Clyde Church of Christ. After graduating from Clyde High School in 1996, she enrolled at Hardin-Simmons University, where she earned a degree in elementary education in May 2000. Angela spent her entire career at Clyde Elementary School and had just completed her 20 ^th year there. She was beloved by family, friends, colleagues, and students.

Angela was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Era Kniffen Waggoner and Juanita Martin, two uncles, James Clyde Martin and Mike Akin.

She is survived by her parents; one sister, Stephanie Yost and husband David; nephews, Zack and Cameron Yost and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at the Clyde Cemetery with David Peterson officiating under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde.
