Ann Elizabeth Jaynes, 74, of Clyde passed away Friday, March 28, 2025, in an Abilene hospital. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Texas State Veterans Cemetery at Abilene with Pastor Marvin Baucum officiating under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Ann was born November 28, 1950, in Corpus Christi, Texas to Henry Dee and Elizabeth (Grogan) Willis. She graduated from Sinton High School and moved to the Clyde area in the 1970's. She married Billy Joe Jaynes in Abilene on March 4, 1989. Ann was a Baptist and loved to knit, crochet, read and spend time with her family.

She is survived by her son, John Burgess and wife Stacey of Hawley; one brother, Henry Gordon "Chip" Willis and wife Barbara of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; one sister, Rebecca D. Wells and husband Reggie of Baird; five grandchildren, Justin Burgess, Taylor Burgess, Jonathan Wise and wife Lauren, Weston Wise and Desirae Renfro; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Montgomery, Kathy Miller, Frances Pivonka Tyl, Vickie Moore, Jake Willis and Lane Willis.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Elizabeth Willis; her husband, Billy Joe and her sister, Kathy Moore.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donation in Ann's memory to Clyde Nursing Center, 806 Stephens St., Clyde, Texas 79510.
