Jul 15, 1926 — May 5, 2024
Ann Fuentes Ramos, aged 97, of Clyde peacefully passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024. She was born on July 15, 1926, in Bremond, Texas to Joe and Noberta (Pina) Fuentes.
Ann was the beloved wife of the late Paul Ramos, whom she married on December 1, 1961, in Bremond. Together, they established their home in Clyde, where they shared many cherished memories. Ann was also preceded in death by her son, Patrick Ramos.
A woman of deep faith, Ann was a devoted member of the St. Joachim and Ann Catholic Church in Clyde. Her commitment to her community extended beyond her church, as she served as a caregiver with Concepts of Care, offering her nurturing presence to those in need.
Ann's love knew no bounds, and her family was the center of her world. She is survived by her loving son, Frank Ramos, and her devoted daughters, Anita Ramos and Josie Ramos, all of Clyde. Ann leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to her siblings: Alberta Fuentes, Felix Fuentes of Temple, half-brother, L'us Fuentes, and half-sisters, Lupe Ruiz and Janie DeJesus, also of Temple. Ann's spirit lives on in her four grandchildren: Nicholas Ramos, Anna Irion, Kristen Irions and Zachary Ramos, as well as her two great grandchildren, Isabella Ramos and Tilan Ramos.
Ann found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She cherished spending time with her family and friends who brought laughter and companionship. Ann had a passion for sewing and tending to her beloved plants and gardens, cultivating beauty wherever she went. Alongside her hobbies, Ann found comfort in the wisdom of her Bible and other books, enriching her spirit with their teachings.
Services to honor Ann's life will be held at the St. Joachim and Ann Catholic Church in Clyde, with Father Albert officiating, on May 8th at 10:00 a.m. A rosary and visitation will precede the funeral on May 7th, held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Bailey Howard Funeral Home. Ann will be laid to rest in the Eula Cemetery under the compassionate direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home.
