Carol Annette Anders, 59, of Ovalo died Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in an Abilene hospital. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 24, 2021 at the Clyde Cemetery with Pastor Greg Anders officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde.

Annette was born June 26, 1962 in Florence, Alabama to Hubert and Doris Evelyn (Johnson) Jackson. She graduated high school in Dallas. She married Arb Anders in Dallas on November 26, 1983 and they moved to the Abilene area in 1990. Annette worked in banking as a loan officer for 40 years. She was a founding member of the Happy State Bank in Abilene, where she worked for the last 10 years. Annette loved her family more than anything and enjoyed attending all of their activities, especially stock shows. She considered being Nana her number one job.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Arb Anders of Ovalo; her son, Justin Anders and wife Meagan of Tuscola; her daughter, Kandi Niblett and husband John of Abilene; three brothers, Wesley Jackson and wife Diane of Dallas, Mike Jackson and wife Shari of Caddo Mills and Gary Jackson and wife Marietta of Royse City; six grandchildren, Kyndi and Raylon Niblett and Abbott, Anson, Auree and Aspen Anders and numerous other relatives and friends.

Annette was preceded in death by her parents.
