A memorial service for Tony Wisniewski will be held Friday May 25, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Veterans Cemetery in Abilene, TX

Anthony Chester Wisniewski was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 23, 1930 and passed away in Abilene Texas on  January 16, 2018.

Tony grew up on his grandparents dairy  farm in rural Ohio. He was called to service during the Korean war and served in the U.S. Army. After returning home to Cleveland, he married his childhood sweetheart, Irene Zielinski, and they had four children. They raised their family in Ohio and moved to Texas in 1997 to be close to one of their daughters and to get away from the cold Ohio winters.

Tony loved carpentry and metal sculpting and could build anything. He actually built

the first house they ever lived in.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents Chester and Caroline Wisniewski and wife Irene. He is survived by his children Nanette Wisniewski of Clyde, Sharon Thomas and husband Bill of Clyde, Patty " Baker " Hermann and husband Leon of Merkel, and son Michael Wisniewski of Clyde.

The family would like to thank Wendy Powell, his caregiver, Visiting Angels, Kinder Hearts Home Health and his neighbors, for all their help.
