Audrey Keel Horner, 84, of Clyde died Wednesday, January 24, 2018 in a Baird nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Friday, January 26, 2018 at the Bailey Howard Funeral Home Chapel in Clyde with Rev. James Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Ross Cemetery in Baird. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Audrey was born February 27, 1933 in Arkansas to Cleo and Ollie Keel. She graduated high school in Peoria, Arizona. She married L.D. "Chief" Horner on November 18, 1949, the father of her three children. She was a telephone operator for Clyde Telephone Exchange and later for Contel. She then went to work at the Abilene State School and then for DRI Resource. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by a son Doug Horner and wife Diane of Baird; two daughters, Patty Clark and husband Steve of Baird and Oteka Gibson and husband Greg of Shertz; eight grandchildren, Chad Clark and wife Mandi, Teela Locker and husband David, Luke Horner, John Horner and wife Christen, Mary Ann Carr and husband Colt, Scout Gibson and wife Emily, Tate Gibson and Emma Gibson.
