Barbara Samford Bickley, 83, of Clyde received the ultimate healing on Saturday, May 11, 2024. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Greenwood Memorial Park in Fort Worth with Pastor Al Munger officiating under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde.

Barbara was born April 12, 1941, in Brownwood to John and Etta (Hurst) Samford. She graduated from Brookesmith High School. She married Jim Bickley in San Antonio on December 3, 1982. Barbara worked as a property manager for many years. She previously worked in a flower shop and loved gardening and all kinds of animals. She and Jim moved to Clyde from Giddings in March of this year, and she was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Jim Bickley and numerous special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, John and Etta and four brothers, Weldon, Eldon, Buddy Neil and Owen Samford.
