Barbara Ann Green, 79, of Eastland passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025, at an Eastland nursing home. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2025, at New Life Fellowship with her brother, Pastor Jerry McCoy officiating.

Barbara was born on September 5, 1945, in Cisco. She graduated from Eastland High School and then attended Fort Worth Beautician College. She was a lifetime resident of Eastland County. Barbara was an amazing homemaker and loved music and dancing.

Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, Augusta McCoy and Johnny McCoy; her brother, Jimmy McCoy; her father, Hal Parkinson and her nephew, Caden Boyle Johnson.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Burns of Clyde; her son, Steve Broyles of Eastland; her brothers, Jerry Mccoy and wife, Beth of Granbury, Ryan Parkinson; sisters, Ramona Newell, Theresa Cook and Debra Schram, all of Grand Prairie; grandchildren, Krista Burns of Abilene, Maegan Burns of Abilene, Chris Norris of Clyde and Brian and Dillon Broyles of Eastland; great grandchildren, Chance and Gavin Norris of Fort Worth, Ryder Norris of Clyde, Aurora, Ireland and Salem Caserez of Abilene, Juniper Bliss and Oakley Hall of Abilene and Ryder Broyles; nieces and nephews, Melissa Sharlow, Junior McCoy, James McCoy, Lori McCoy and Vanessa Kennedy, all of Oklahoma, Jason McCoy of North Carolina, Angela Burleson of Brownwood, Heather Johnson (Peyton) of Early and Jermicah McCoy of Bedford.
