Barbara Ann Leggett, 70, of Abilene passed away Monday, August 11, 2025, at her home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Barbara was born on October 16, 1954, in Abilene to Doyle and Mary (Jolly) Bowman. She grew up in the Abilene area and graduated from Abilene High School. She married Alan Leggett in Abilene on January 11, 2005. Barbara worked in restaurant management for Betty Rose's Little Brisket, and she had previously worked for Perini Ranch Steakhouse. She loved bowling and bowled on a few leagues throughout the years. She also loved bingo and playing games with her family, fishing and motorcycle rides with Alan. She was lovingly known as GranB to her grandchildren, and she cherished her time with all of them.

She is survived by her sons, Christopher Summers and wife Stephane, Marshall Summers, Daylen Leggett, Shane Adkins, Cody Leggett and wife Nicki, all of Abilene, Garrett Leggett of Gustine and Chris Jackson and wife Keri of Mena, Arkansas; two brothers, Johnny Jolly and wife Shelia of Kerrville and Kenneth Bowman of Corpus Christi; brother-in law and sister-in-law, Bill and Rhonda Hilliard of Abilene; daughter-in-law, Lauren Farrar of Abilene; grandchildren, James Summers and wife Mercedes of Abilene, Joel Farrar of Abilene, Evelyn Leggett and Peyton Leggett, both of Comanche, Kylee Mears of Abilene, Norma Jean Summers of Abilene and Aslynn Jackson of Arkansas; one great granddaughter, Brylynn Summers of Abilene and numerous other relatives and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Doyle and Mary; her husband, Alan in 2023; her brother, Terry Bowman and her sister, Melissa Quinn.
