Berthe Ndengue épouse Djob II, 64, of Mbankomo/Yaoundé, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2023 in Plano, Texas after suffering a massive stroke which she fought for 07 long weeks at the Texas Health Presbyterian ICU.

Berthe was born on January 31, 1959 to Ndjiki Oscar and Ngo Tonga Berthe in Douala, Cameroon. She grew up in Douala where she received her First School Living Certificate. She then went to Middle School in College Montesquieu, Yaoundé to obtain her BEPC. She carried up her education to high school until she obtained l'examen de probatoire and decided to go to trade school for Seamstress career.

In 1978, Berthe met Djob II Victor at Yaoundé/Cameroon while in Trade School. Both married in 1981 and went on to have 7 children, in order Lea Djob, Berthe Djob, Eric Djob, Yolande DJob, Victorine Djob, Armelle Djob and Oscarine Djob.

Berthe was a widow having lost her husband in 2009. She was a full time devoted mother and sacrificed her own career to do so. She was also very religious, loved God and adored him with all her heart. She was a member of many spiritual groups including UEBC church and Military Spouses Association. In her free time, she enjoyed doing tailor work, cooking delicious meals and loved to travel. She left behind many saddened grandchildren.

She was a beautiful person inside and out. Her smile was so stunning it would light up the whole room. She cared so deeply for people around her. She loved family life and was a great conflict resolver and peace advocate for her family. She showered her grandkids with love. She was so kind and passionate. She made an impact on many lives and will be forever missed.

Services will be held at Agape All Nations Church on August 26 at 11 AM located at 1501 N Country Club Rd, Garland, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to send her remains back to Cameroon for burial.
