Obituary

Billy "Bill" Charles Faircloth, 81, of Clyde, died Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Hendrick Hospice in Abilene.  Memorial services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Monday, February 24, 2025, at the Clyde Methodist Church with Sam Nichols and Monty Barnett officiating.  His cremains will be buried in the Bullock Cemetery, north of Ranger.

Bill was born November 30, 1943, in Ranger, Texas, to Sig and Madrid O'Dell (Hazard) Faircloth.  He was a 1962 graduate of Cisco High School and received his bachelor's from Hardin Simmons University in 1968.  Bill married Gaytha Rice on October 21, 1963, in Cisco.  They moved to Clyde from Cisco in 1979.  Bill was an insurance agent for State Farm for 29 years.  He was a member of the Clyde Methodist Church, a Gideon, a former member of the Kiwanis Club, and Past President and served on the Board of Directors of the Clyde Chamber of Commerce.

Bill is survived by his wife Gay Faircloth of Clyde; his son, Billy Faircloth of Clyde; two daughters, Alisa Easterling and husband Brian of Abilene and Charlotte Faircloth of Abilene; his sister, Sharon Hazard of Clyde; and two grandsons, Jordan Mills of Corpus Christi and Will Stegall of Seattle.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Jo Hazard; and his brother, S.S. Faircloth.
