Bill Luera Vasquez, 79, died Sunday, March 26, 2023, at his home in Clyde.  No services are planned at this time.

Bill was born February 10, 1944, in Concho County, Texas, to Andrew Vasquez and Pabla Luera Vasquez.  Bill married Katherine Gomez in Ballinger and they moved to Baird from Ballinger in the 1960's.  Bill worked in the sanitation department for the City of Baird and retired from the City of Clyde.  He belonged to the Catholic Church.

Bill is survived by his son, Joe Vasquez and partner Clifford Willis of Clyde; his daughter, Mary Paz and husband Carlos of Abilene; five sisters, Vicenta Contreras, Ernestina Coronado, Renalda Vasquez, Sandra Vasquez and Angie Hernandez; six grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Katherine Gomez; his son, Robert Vasquez; his daughter, Janie Gomez; his brother, Fortunato Vasquez and four sisters, Cathy Alfaro, Gloria Gomez, Felipa Ramos and Cecilia Vara.
