Billie Joan (Jo) Turner, 83, of Baird died Monday, February 18, 2019 in a Baird nursing center. A memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the Baird Housing Authority, 415 Chestnut, Baird.

Joan was born May 14th, 1935, in Memphis, Texas to Marvin Roy Webster and Beatrice Etola (Miller) Webster.

She attended many different schools in different locations such as Memphis, TX, Lakeview, TX, San Diego, CA and Littlefield, TX.   She married Billy Jolley in Littlefield, TX in 1951 and they had 2 children David and Davida. During their time in Littlefield she worked at Piggly Wiggly as a Cashier.  In 1964 they moved their family to Ft. Worth where she worked for Deep Flex Craft Co. for 17 years. After years of marriage her and Billy Divorced, but remained friends. In 2000 she moved to Baird, Texas to help take care of her mother.  She went every day to the Nursing Home to help her mother at lunch time. After the death of her Mother in 2013 she moved to Cleburne, TX to be closer to her family. She enjoyed being close to her son, her grandsons and great grandkids.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents and her Daughter Davida Dorris.  She is survived by her Son David Jolley 5 Grandsons Stephen Fowler, Shawn Jolley, Shane Jolley, Jeffrey Dorris, and Cody Dorris and 11 Great Grandkids.
