Buck Farish, 96, a longtime resident of Irving, died at his home Saturday, September 7, 2024.  A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 12, 2024, at First Baptist Church, 403 South Main Street in Irving. Visitation will be at 2:00 p.m. His son, Mark Farish and Pastor Blair Robinson will officiate.

Born April 2, 1928, in Plainview, Texas, he was the son of Walter Lloyd Farish and Bonnie Belle Morton Farish. He graduated from Sunset High School in Dallas and attended Arlington State College (now the University of Texas at Arlington). He served in the U S Navy 1946-1948.

Buck married Mary Sue Moore June 27, 1953, at First Baptist Church in Irving. He owned and managed the Irving Branch of Southwest Land Title Company. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Irving and had been a member of the Irving Kiwanis Club and the Scottish Rite Shrine.

Preceded in death by his parents, a son Les Farish, and brother, Lee Farish, he is survived by his wife of 71 years, Mary Sue Farish; three sons, Mark Farish, Tim Farish, and John Farish; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
