Bobbie James Williams, 61, of Baird died Monday, January 29, 2018 at his home. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde.

Bobbie was born April 21, 1956 in Abilene to Lawson and Georgia (Hilley) Williams. He lived the majority of his life in the Baird area except for 20 years he spent in Altus, Oklahoma. Bobbie worked as a mechanic for many years.

He is survived by two sons, David Williams and wife Cristie of Cotulla and Joseph Williams of Amarillo; daughter Georgiana Williams of Abilene; four brothers, Willie Williams, Jackie Williams, both of Wichita Falls, Thomas Roberts of Littlefield and Lewis Belyeu of Jacksboro; sister Ruth Hoffman of Jacksboro; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; former wife Sherilyn Simmons of Baird and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bobbie was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Jessie Williams and Ronnie Gene Roberts and a sister Linda Wilcox.
