Braxton Alexander Vinson, 17, of Clyde died Thursday, March 3, 2022, at home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Clyde First Baptist Church with Rev. Monty Barnett officiating. Burial will follow in Eula Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Braxton was born October 20, 2004, in Abilene to James Daniel Vinson and Angela Diane Sparks. He was a sophomore at Clyde High School and loved video games and sports of all kinds.

He is survived by his father, Daniel Vinson and wife Margo of Mesa, Arizona; mother, Angie Tatum and husband Brandon of Clyde; siblings, Branson Tatum of Clyde, Khirey Leisch and Khaig Stafford, both of Mesa, Arizona; aunt, Comella Vinson of Jacksonville, North Carolina; uncle, Larry Sparks, Jr. of Amarillo; paternal grandmother, Pam Vinson of Mesa, Arizona; maternal grandmother, Sandra Sparks of Abilene; great grandmother, Esther Madison of Mesa, Arizona and many other relatives and friends.

Braxton was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Larry Sparks, Sr and paternal grandfather, Jimmy Vinson.
