Brenda Kay Walsh, 73, of Clyde passed away Friday, February 2, 2024, at her home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Brenda was born January 26, 1951, in Lubbock to Harold and Delma (Dickson) Fowler. She graduated from Coronado High School in Lubbock. She married the love of her life, Mike Walsh, on July 3, 1969, in Lubbock and they moved to Clyde in 1983. She operated an alterations business for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Mike Walsh; two sons, Chris Walsh and wife Fran of Melissa and Chad Walsh and wife Rachel of Houston; one brother, Troy Cook and wife Donna of Fort Worth; four sisters, Vicki Neal of Fort Worth, Judy Cook of Austin, Karen Cook of Austin and Sharon Owen of Fort Worth; seven grandchildren, Chase, Brittany, Alexis, Chance, Mackenzie, Wesley and Joshua; two great grandchildren, Cason and Henley and special friends, Jeremy Hall and Angie Offield.

Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Harold Fowler; her mother, Delma Cook and stepfather, Frank Cook.
