Carolyn Ann  (Carol) Lane Cook, 81, of Azle went home to be with the Lord Monday evening, September 8, 2025 at her home.

Born March 21, 1944 in Baird, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Walter Clarence Lane and Opal Clenev Jones Lane. She married Jimmy Wayne Cook   in 1978.  She formerly worked for UPS and spent most of her life as a caregiver.   She was Pentecostal.

Preceded in death by her parents; two children, Faith Parker and Rachel Parker; three brothers, Bobby Lane, Roland (Curley) Lane, and Larry Lane; and a sister Pat Korzenewski. She is survived by her husband Jimmy Cook of Azle; a daughter Cyndi Miller and her husband Royce of Azle; a son Ralph (Buzz) Parker; two grandsons, Dylan Miller and Dakota Miller; and a great-grandson Joseph Miller; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation will be held 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Thursday at Bailey-Howard Funeral Home, 105 Oak Street in Clyde, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday in the Garden of Prayer at Elmwood Memorial Park Abilene, Texas.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 100 East Hubbard Street, Suite 101 Mineral Wells TX 76067.
