Cecil Eudean "Huck" Huckabee, 77, of Clyde died Thursday, December 27, 2018 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Denton Valley Baptist Church with Pastor Louis Brewer officiating under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde. Burial will follow in the Kendrick Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Cecil was born February 6, 1941 in Hamilton to Earl and Jessie Ann (Beechley) Huckabee. He attended school at Denton Valley and graduated from Clyde High School in 1959 and later served in the U.S. Army. He was a crane operator for FB McIntire in Ft. Worth for 42 years and a member of the Local 178 Ft. Worth Union for 41 years. He lived in Watauga for 42 years and moved back to the Clyde area in 2006. Cecil married Gloria Braxton in Denton Valley in 2017 and was a member of the Denton Valley Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Gloria Huckabee of Denison; three sons, Thomas (Kris) Huckabee and wife Bridget of North Richland Hills, Kevin Huckabee and wife Amy of Ft. Worth and Scotty Huckabee and wife Patricia of Paradise; seven grandchildren, Hunter, Tabatha, Jennifer, Justin, Kendal, Brooke and Samantha; six great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Cecil was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Bobby Huckabee.
