Obituary

Charles Lee Bledsoe, 82, of Abilene died Saturday, April 13, 2019 in Cortez, Colorado.

Family and friends will lay him to rest graveside at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 26, 2019 at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery at Abilene, near Fort Phantom.

Charles was born December 22, 1936 in Abilene to James and Louise (Craig) Bledsoe. He graduated from Lueders High School in 1954. After graduation he joined the U.S. Army. He married Eidie on September 3, 1981. He was the president of L & L Inc. for 40 years and was a member of the Abilene Bible Church.

He is survived by his wife Eidie, two sons, Doug and wife Lydia of Blanco Texas, Charlie of Marble Falls Texas, two daughters, Joyce of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Janet of Cedar Park, Texas, step children Max of Rhome, Texas, Carey and husband Flann of  Corpus Christi, Texas, Deirdra and husband Cory of Abilene, Texas and his brother Don and Jo of Abilene, Texas; eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
