Charlotte Gail Caldwell, 58, died Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Hendrick Medical Center.  Services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 20, 2021, at Bailey-Howard Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Bell officiating.  Burial will follow in the Clyde Cemetery under the direction of Bailey-Howard Funeral Home.  Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00pm on Saturday at the funeral home.

Charlotte was born November 9, 1962, in Abilene, to Alvin Ray and Vondell (Golson) Caldwell.  She was a graduate of Cooper High School and College of the Southwest in Hobbs, New Mexico.  Charlotte was a Chief Financial Officer with Communities of Abilene, formerly Dyess Air Force Credit Union, for 15 years.

She was respectfully known as our number nerd.  She enjoyed going to the casino, spending time with family and friends over a good meal and watching her special angel Cambreigh grow and brighten her day.

Charlotte is survived by her father, Al Caldwell and his wife Bess of Abilene; her mother, Vondell Caldwell of Abilene; one brother, Greg Caldwell and wife Brenda of Brazoria, Texas; two step-sisters, Margie Bell and husband Jeff of Clyde and Audri Rowell of Abilene; her special angel, Cambreigh Wilson of Abilene; her best friend of 45 years, Tammy Wolford of Abilene; 10 nieces and nephews; and several aunts and uncles.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her grandparents, Odell and Lorita Golson, and Sam and Clara Caldwell.
