The Wichita Kid has pulled in to Heaven's dock.

Chris B. (Pop) Key, 84, of Clyde died Saturday, June 16, 2018 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the Bailey Howard Funeral Home Chapel with John Belshe officiating. Burial will follow in the Clyde Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Remember When will be held both evenings at the barn.

Chris was born November 2, 1933 in Vera, Texas to Carvol (Red) Reeves Key and Margaret (Willie Mae) (Bailey) Key. He attended school in Wichita Falls and Iowa Park. He married Margaret Davis in Wichita Falls on March 13, 1953. Chris was a truckdriver for many years.

He is survived by two sons, Chris Dwayne Key and wife Stephanie and Michael William Key, all of Wichita Falls; daughter Ruby Kay Belshe and husband John of Clyde; brother Darrell Wayne (Scooter) Key and wife Elaine of Grand Prairie; two sisters, Vivian Leigh Foster and husband Michael  and Sherry Lynn Wilcox and husband Ralph, all of California, brother Tommy Joe Davis and wife Jean of Wichita Falls; grandchildren, Misty Easter and husband Jake, Justin Key, Chance Key, McKenzie Laws and husband Colton, Garrett Belshe, Allison Key, Megan Tucker and husband Neil and Conner Key; great grandchildren, Emily and Morgan Easter; and dog, Munchkin.

Chris was preceded in death by his parents, his wife in 2015, three brothers, Larmon, Kenneth and Elton Roger Key and two sisters, Margaret June Key and C.R. Key.
