Cody Lane Robinson, 26, of Sweetwater died Sunday, January 29, 2023. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 6, 2023, at Bailey Howard Funeral Home Chapel with Tandi Riley officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home.

Cody was born February 7, 1996, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Richard Lee and Dorothy Louise (Foreman) Robinson. He attended Cooper High School in Abilene, and was a member of ROTC, and moved to Sweetwater in July 2020.  He started working for Sonic when he was 16 and was a manager at the Sweetwater location at the time of his death.

He is survived by his father, Richard Lee Robinson and wife Kacee of Sweetwater; mother, Dorothy Louise Gaylor and husband Harvey of Centrahoma, Oklahoma; two sons, Cody Lane Robinson, Jr. and Blake Leon Robinson; paternal grandmother, Barbara Robinson of Abilene; maternal grandparents, Bud and Peggy Foreman of Sandia; brothers, Trevor Dakota Robinson of Merkel and Dayan Jace Robinson of Sweetwater; sister, Cammy Shae Robinson of Abilene; step-brothers, Wesley Travis Gaylor of Hartshorne, Oklahoma and Aaron Gabriel Gaylor of McAlester, Oklahoma; step-sister, Tabitha Ann Howell and husband B.J. of McAlester, Oklahoma and many other relatives and friends.

Cody was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, William Robinson.
