Connie Mack English, known affectionately as C.M., passed away on April 20, 2026, in Eastland, Texas. Born on March 6, 1935, in Red River County, Texas to Hubert and Blanche (Bond) English.

Throughout his career, C.M. served as a salesman for Jewel-T for many years, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and customers alike. Beyond his career, C.M. was an avid bird hunter who deeply loved his bird dogs, sharing a profound connection to nature and the outdoors. Music was another cherished aspect of his life—he delighted in singing, a joy that undoubtedly brought light to those around him.

C.M. is survived by his daughter Brenda Hill and her husband Danny of Fort Worth, Texas, and his son Clinton English of California. He also leaves behind three grandchildren: Amanda Branscum Hein of Fort Worth, Angela Harrell and her husband Jason of Argyle, and Ashley Oliphant and her husband Matt of Fort Worth. His legacy continues with nine great-grandchildren—Kaitlyn, Drake, Layla, Samantha, Sydney, Bethany, Claire, Luke and Summer —and three great-great-grandchildren: Lillie, Ava, and Charlie.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Gwen Branscum; his sisters Carolyn Ball and Reba Barham; his brother Donald English; and his former wife Belle English.

A Memorial Gathering to honor C.M.’s life will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Hart Cemetery, located at 2399 CR 625 in Hart. This gathering will provide friends and family the opportunity to come together, share memories, and celebrate a man who left a lasting impact on their hearts.
