Cynthia (Cindy) Ann Hassell, 58, of Albany died Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at her home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the First Christian Church of Albany with Pastor Brad McBee officiating.

Cindy was born January 22, 1961 in Palestine to Jack and Mariann (Walshak) Hassell. She graduated from Palestine High School and attended nursing school. Prior to moving to Albany, she worked as a nurse in the Houston area.

She is survived by her mother, Mariann Walshak of Albany; two sons, Josh Hassell and wife Amber of Albany and Jarrod Brian Dobbs of The Woodlands; a daughter, Ashley Nicole Loftin of Albany; five brothers, Joe Walshak and wife Jennie of Odessa, Buddy Walshak and wife Stacy of Crosby, Dwayne Walshak and wife Gale of Spring, Mike Hassell of Albany and Bo Hassell of Alabama and four grandchildren, Ashton Hassell, Allison McCullough, BraeLynn Hassell and Korbyn Hassell.

Cindy was preceded in death by her grandparents, A.L. and Ella Mae Vick, Pres and Opal Hassell and Louise Wining.
