Daniel Lee Goff, 76, of Clyde passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024, in an Abilene hospice facility. No services are scheduled at this time.

Daniel was born July 10, 1947, in Ontario, Oregon to Jimmie Lee and Ethel Mae (Peirce) Goff. He graduated from high school in Fruitland, Idaho. After high school, he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He married Janice Hetz in Boise, Idaho on September 12, 1988. He worked for Caterpillar for many years as a forklift mechanic. After his retirement, he continued as a self-employed mechanic for ten years. He moved to Texas from New Plymouth, Idaho in 2019. Daniel was a 33rd Degree Mason and had a passion for raising horses and cattle.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Janice Goff of Clyde; one son, Brandon Lee Goff and wife Dina of Payette, Idaho; three daughters, McKenzi Lanae Goff and fiancé Shane Buchanan of Portland, Oregon, Katherine Tabitha Belanger and husband Jared of Abilene and Jennifer Janae Spiers and husband Darren of Adrian, Oregon; one brother, Richard (Rick) A. Goff and wife Kathy of Roseburg, Oregon; two sisters, Sharon Slyter of Fruitland, Idaho and Darlene Haley and husband Bill of Petersburg, Alaska; nine grandchildren, Jonas Goff, Haleigh Panciarelli, Emma Belanger, Aysia Nicole Slabaugh, Alyssa Griffin, Grayce Griffin, Raychel Lavonne Goff, Tristan Spiers and Aiden Spiers; three great grandchildren, Ebanie Slabaugh, Brooklyn Slabaugh and Eko Smith and many other relatives and friends.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie and Ethel.
