Danny Joe Bamber, 72, of Clyde passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024, in an Abilene hospital. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery at Abilene.

Danny was born September 15, 1951, in San Angelo. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Era. After his military service, he was a truck driver for many years and drove for many local companies. He married Amy Cantu in Clyde on September 6, 2002. Danny was a competitive racer in the TSCEC and loved riding his motorcycle and enjoyed many rides with his friends.

He is survived by his wife, Amy Bamber; stepfather, Bill Bamber; two sons, Danny Bamber, Jr. and William Bamber; two daughters, Bonnie Bamber and Shellie Bamber Seto; two brothers, Billy Bamber and Ricky Bamber; one sister, Gwen Burroughs and husband Randy; several grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

Danny was preceded in death by his mother, Lillie Doris (Smith) Bamber and his first wife, Linda (Gober) Bamber.
