Darlene Davis, 77, of Albany died Tuesday, March 17, 2020 in an Abilene hospital. A private family service will be held at a later date.

Darlene was born August 5, 1942 in Stamford to Ted and Margaret (Childers) Fitzpatrick. She graduated from Odessa High School. She married Bobby Glenn Davis in Odessa on December 2, 1960. They moved to Albany from Follet in 1975. She was a homemaker and "Coach's Wife", moving with her husband across West Texas and the Panhandle following his coaching career. They also owned and operated the Albany Chemical Company for 22 years. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son Bubba Davis of Albany; daughter Sissy Presley of Albany; daughter-in-law Melanie Anderson of Albany; sister Sherry Enloe of Albany' ten grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, son Sonny Davis, two sons-in-law, Zane McNeill and Kenny Presley.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Friendship Baptist Church, Benevolence Fund, St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Cooks Children's Hospital.
