David Andrew (Andy) Davis, 67, of Clyde died Thursday, October 3, 2019 in a Baird nursing home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Andy was born July 4, 1952 in Abilene to William (Bill) and Frankie (Hightower) Davis. He graduated from Clyde High School in 1970 and was a longtime resident of the Clyde area.

He was a caregiver for his mother until her death in 2015. Andy loved life and loved to sit on his porch with his dog and drink Pearl Beer.

He is survived by his brother Billy Davis of Clyde; nephew Spencer Dean Davis of South Carolina and a family of lifelong friends.

Andy was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Jo Ann Davis Wright.
