David Wayne Douglas, 36, of Clyde died Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at his home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde.

David was born June 15, 1984 in Dallas. He was a wonderful person, husband and father. He turned his life around for his family, being clean and sober for six months. He was an amazing cook and loved his animals. David volunteered at the Mission of Miracles in Baird every week. He married Tonya Fass in Clyde on October 31, 2020.

He is survived by his stepmother Dena Coles of Paradise; wife Tonya Douglas of Clyde; five daughters, Blaze Fass Douglas of Clyde, Paige Fass of California, Jayden Adkins of Lewisville, Sapphire Douglas of Denton and Maya Holsinger of Chico; two honorary sons, Roy Jalamo and James Andrus, both of Clyde; two brothers, Bobby Douglas and Dale Douglas; granddaughter Bentlee Rose; grandfather, Robert Douglas and aunt Daphene Sperry.

David was preceded in death by his father David Lester Douglas, brother Terry Sperry and grandmother Marion Lee Douglas.
