David Leslie Lambert, 60, of Hamby passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025, at his home. A memorial / visitation will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Bailey Howard Funeral Home in Clyde.

David was born December 18, 1964, in Abilene to the late Roy Thurman and Cora Lee (Breeding) Lambert. He grew up in the Oplin and Abilene areas and attended Abilene High School. David married the love of his life, Amy Rice, in Abilene on September 22, 1994. He worked in the oil field and as a truck driver for many years and had attended the Three Crosses Cowboy Church. His favorite past times were cooking for his family, fishing, hunting and all things fall.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Amy Lambert of Hamby; his daughter, Ali Lambert of Abilene; son, Bradley Henry and wife Karen of Abilene; four brothers, Dickie Breeding of Potosi, Roy Lambert and wife Marcia of Lawn, Jerry Lambert and Elma Martens of Hamby and Bobby Lambert and wife Cathy of View; one sister, Elaine Adams of Hawley; three granddaughters, Athena, Kory and Lilly; mother-in-law, Sue Rice of Cisco; brother-in-law, Terry Rice of Matthews, North Carolina and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and childhood friends.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations made in David's memory to your local animal shelter or Meals on Wheels.
