Hazel Dean Johnson, 82, of Clyde passed away Monday, March 31, 2025, in an Abilene hospice facility. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Broadview Baptist Church in Abilene with Pastor David Cason officiating.

Dean was born July 24, 1942, in Haskell to the late Melvin Jefferson "Pat" and Margie Vennie Lynette (Bush) Sellers. She graduated from Rule High School, where she was on the drill team and played tennis. She worked as a sales manager for many years and later retired from the Abilene Restitution Center. She was affectionately known as Mimi and loved spending time with her grandson and great grandchildren. Dean was a member of Broadview Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Thompson and husband Howard of Abilene; two brothers, Billy Sellers of Clyde and Terry Sellers and wife Euleta of The Woodlands; one grandson, Wesley Caskey and wife Kelsey of Eula; four grandchildren, Zoe, Zaden, Shyanne and Paxton and many other relatives and friends.
