Diane Turner Arn, 61, of Clyde went to meet her Lord on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at the Hendrick Hospice Care Center in Abilene, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 am, Tuesday, August 1, at Bailey Howard Funeral Home Chapel in Clyde with Dr. Jon Schwiethale, minister of the Hamby Church of Christ, officiating.  Burial will follow at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene.  Family Visitation will be from 9:00 am to service time at the funeral home.

Diane was born December 8, 1961, in Abilene, to Dr. C. Bruce and Charlotte (Compton) Davis.  She graduated from Ashland High School, Ashland, Nebraska and later from the Patty Hanks School of Nursing with her R.N. certification.  Diane began her nursing career at Hendrick Hospital, and worked for Hendrick Home Health.  Her last career job as a nurse was with Kinder Hearts Home Health for many years.  Diane married Lonnie A. Arn in Big Spring on June 4, 2010, and they later moved to Clyde in 2019.

Diane is survived by her parents, Dr. C. Bruce and Charlotte Davis of Abilene; husband Lonnie A. Arn of Clyde; son, Chris Turner of Abilene; daughter, Carrie Hathaway and husband Gary of Abilene; stepsons, Jonathan Arn of Hobbs, NM and Nathan Arn and wife, Jennifer of Corpus Christi; stepdaughter, Heather Mishra of Albuquerque, NM; sisters Debbie Meiser and Sharon Milner of Mabank, TX and Delinda Krazer of Ft. Worth, TX; three grandchildren, Isaac Arn, and Myra Kadithala and Kalian Hathaway; various nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express our deepest appreciation to the staff of Hendrick Hospice Care and to the nursing staff of the sixth floor of Parker Wing of Hendrick Hospital.  In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Hendrick Hospice Care, or your favorite charity.
