Donald Gene Kelso, 54, of Anson, died Saturday, January 4, 2020, in Anson.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2020, at the Kendrick Cemetery in Denton Valley with Dr. Toby Henson officiating.  Visitation will be from 10:00 to 12:00 noon on Thursday at Bailey-Howard Funeral Home in Clyde.

Donald was born February 24, 1965, in Irving, Texas, to Donald Ray and Paula Jean Allen Kelso.  He attended school in Waxahachie and moved to Anson from Waxahachie in 2014.  He was a ranch hand at the Centerville Ranch in Centerville, Texas.  He also worked at FCS Construction in Dallas and for the City of Ovilla.

Donald is survived by his mother Paula Jean Kelso of Anson; two sisters, Donna Pauline Kelso of Abilene and Jeanna Dawn Kelso of Waxahachie; his grandmother, Madie Phillips of Hawley; one niece Krista Dawn Westbook and husband Jacob of Midlothian; and four great-nieces and nephews, Cameron Paul Green, Hadyn Skylar Westbrook, Brylie Marie Westbrook, and Landyn Westbrook.

Donald was preceded in death by his father, Donald Ray Kelso, who died November 17, 2019.
