Donald Wray Spease, Jr., 69, of Clyde passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025, in an Abilene hospital. No services are scheduled at this time.

Donald was born on September 27, 1955, in Pasadena, California to Donald Wray Spease, Sr. and Margaret (Burgess) Spease. He graduated from Saddleback High School in Santa Anna, California. He married Dyanne Lynn Thornton at the Chapel of the Bells in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 26, 1999, and they moved to Clyde from Garden Grove, California in 2004. Donald worked as a transport truckdriver for Pepsi for over 15 years and also worked as a mechanic most of his life. He was an avid hunter and loved racing cars, boats or anything with a motor. He was a member of Temple Mizpah in Abilene.

He is survived by his wife, Dyanne Lynn Spease of Clyde; his father, Donald Spease, Sr. and wife Janet of Pasadena, California; one son, Donald Wray Spease, III of Capo Beach, California; two daughters, Melissa Laroux of San Diego, California and Kasha Olson of Kalispell, Montana; one brother, Matthew Spease of Pasadena, California; one sister, Mary Spease of Laguna Beach, California and four grandchildren.
