Donna Phyllis (Blair) Jones of Post, Texas passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 80. She was born in Lamesa, Texas to Cecil Blair (died in World War II) and Wanda Blair Thurman. John D Thurman became her dad, marrying Wanda in 1947. Donna married John E Jones, December 22, 1960, in San Angelo, settling in Abilene, Texas, lovingly married 55 years before his passing.

She is survived by two sons, Jody Jones and wife Lori of Post, Texas and Troy Jones and wife Holly of Macon, Georgia; five grandkids, Joey and wife Heather, Coty, Ian Jones, Monica Peck and husband Aaron and Anthony Krueger; two extra grandkids, Steven Jr. and Mack Adams; six great grandkids, Haylie, Reagan, Landon, Laramie Jones, Blair and Tessa Peck; three siblings, Jay Thurman and wife Cindy, Sue Brewer, Terrye Sellers and family.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Jones; parents, Cecil Blair, Wanda Thurman and John D. Thurman.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Eula Cemetery with Pastor Dennis Chappell officiating under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
