**** Service Schedule Update****

Donna Mae Smith, 81, of Clyde, formerly of Sweetwater, died Tuesday, January 11, 2022, peacefully in her home, with her husband of 54 years by her side. A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at North Park Assembly of God, 1918 Jameson St., Abilene.

Donna was born January 15, 1940, in Sweetwater to Emery and Veta (Sheppard) Pursley. She attended school in Sweetwater and graduated from Roscoe High School. She married Robert Smith in Roscoe on February 4, 1967. She was a foster parent for ten years and also was a Minister. She was a member of the North Park Assembly of God.

She is survived by her husband, Robert "Lewis" Smith of Clyde; three sons, Roy Smith and wife Terry of Alvarado, Roland Zumwalt and wife Pam of Sweetwater and Robert Smith of Teague; daughter, Grace Way and husband Andrew of Clyde; sister, Anna Cowan of Sweetwater; 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Dena Zumwalt; two brothers, E.H. and Wayne Pursley; one sister, Mary Anderson; two grandchildren, Reagan Zumwalt and Nathan Way.
