Doris Fern Brock, 74, of Haskell died Tuesday, August 31, 2021 in an Abilene hospice facility. A celebration of life will be held by the Texas Hill Country Gospel Jubilee at the Comanche County Cowboy Church at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2021 with Pastor Jim Nelson officiating.

Doris was born September 5, 1946 in Amarillo to Joseph Clyde and Effie Bell (Dennis) Williams. She graduated from Haskell High School. She married Hubert Brock in Graham and they resided in Haskell. Doris was an artist and songwriter. She always put others first and loved her family. She had many friends and was a prayer warrior to many. She is now singing in Heaven and playing the grand piano.

She is survived by her daughter Jama Park and husband Jerry of Clyde, seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Texas Hill Country Gospel Jubilee, to spread the gospel in words and songs to lost souls at 2950 FM 1829, Gatesville, Texas 76528.
