Elaine Credle Pearce was born January 13, 1948, to Bryce and Virginia Credle in Washington, North Carolina. Elaine passed away February 12, 2022, after a brief illness.

She married the love of her life, David Pearce, on January 3, 1991, and they lived in North Carolina and Florida, where Elaine was a Culinary Arts instructor for many years until her retirement. Elaine and David moved to Strawn, Texas in 2017, and she enjoyed traveling with David across the United States.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband, David Pearce of Strawn; her sister, Corky House of Bethel, North Carolina; stepchildren, Joe David Pearce of Bear Creek, North Carolina and Melanie Jones of Greensboro, North Carolina and three step grandchildren.
