Frances Loraine Ramos, 84, of Cisco died Sunday, August 21, 2022, at her daughter's home in Cisco. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Cedar Gap Cemetery with her grandson, Pastor Scott Rasco officiating under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Frances was born April 10, 1938, in Coleman to Burten and Dixie Pauline (Simmons) Grimes. She worked as a caregiver in home health for many years. She moved to Cisco from Abilene in 2012. Frances was a loving mother and grandmother and a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Abilene.

She is survived by three sons, Jimmy Buckalew of Belton, Jeffery Cowart and wife Kerry of Abilene and Ronald Cowart and wife Shelly of Abilene; two daughters, Charlotte Johnson and husband Ronnie of Cisco and Cindy Dick and husband Bartley of Tuscola; sister, Darlene Rosser of San Angelo; twelve grandchildren, Shelby, Ashton, Gage, Byron, Aaron, Jerron, Miranda, Brittany, Scott, Amanda, Douglas and Brandon and numerous great grandchildren.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Billy Joe Cowart; her second husband, Elmer Ramos; three brothers, Glenn, Kenneth and Donald Grimes; four sisters, Gearldene Patterson, Burtie Simmons, Connie McKenzie and Linda Grimes; her daughter-in-law, Linda Belton.
