George Maben Rogers, 71, of Clyde died Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at his home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

George was born August 5, 1952, in Abilene to Joseph Maben and Elvira Mae (Vreeland) Rogers. He graduated from Clyde High School and married Jody Wheeler in Clyde on November 20, 1971.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jody Rogers; two daughters, Crissy McCoy of Stephenville and Becky Rogers of Clyde; grandchildren, Alexis McCoy of Tennessee and Braden McCoy of Stephenville; nephew, Bill Poindexter and wife Sharon; nieces, Lynn Parker and partner Jamie of San Angelo, Leslie Nichols of Nacona, Trish Beverlin and husband James of Abilene and sister, Vi White of Abilene.
