Herman Edell Ratliff (Feb 25, 1938 - Jan 3, 2023)

We are so sad to announce that on Jan 3 ^rd , 2023, we had to say goodbye to our father and friend, Herman "Edell" Ratliff. He was 84 years old. He had lived in the Clyde/Abilene area almost 60 years, having owned various businesses.

He was a good friend to many, and in younger years he enjoyed fishing, hunting and a good game of dominoes.

He is survived by a son, David Edell Ratliff of Baird, daughter Tracy Ratliff De'Jean of Houston as well as grandchildren Raven and Ryder Ratliff of Baird.

A celebration of life gathering will be held in the spring at a later date to be determined.

Memorial donations can be made to Ben Richey Boys Ranch of Abilene in lieu of flowers.
