Ida Lou Brewer, 72, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018, at her home in Clyde. Private graveside memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.

Ida was born March 30, 1946, in Lamesa, Texas, to John Stokes and Thelma D (Sellers) Teague. She attended Lamesa High School. Ida married Louis Brewer August 2, 1963, in Lamesa. She was a homemaker and a member of the Denton Valley Baptist Church.

Ida is survived by her husband, Louis; daughter, Kristi Cato (Aaron) of Abilene; brothers, Fred Teague (Marilyn) of Lamesa and Ernest Teague of Lubbock; sister, Billie Smith of Loop; and two grandchildren, Steven Cato and Dolan Cato.

Ida was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Lisa Renae Brewer; and her sister, Dorothy Marley.
