Jace Michael Akers was born on Monday, September 19, 2022, at 8:51 p.m. The Lord graciously gave us 8 hours and 32 minutes with our sweet baby boy before he entered into eternity on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at 5:23 a.m. in the arms of his parents. We are comforted knowing Jace is forever in the presence of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Ross Cemetery in Baird with Pastor Blake White officiating under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at South Side Baptist Church, 1425 S. 7 ^th St., Abilene.

Jace is survived by his parents, Jared and Laura (Rawlings) Akers; his brother, Mason Akers; sister, Rawlings Akers; grandparents, Archie and Lori Akers, Fred and Pam Rawlings; great grandparents, Patsy Moreland and Betty Rawlings; aunts and uncles, Mitch and Makenzie Akers, Blake and Miranda Akers and Jesse and Brooke Rawlings and cousins, Eden Rawlings, Anders and Beckett Akers.

He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, John Moreland, Ira and Gayle Akers, Jesse and Betty Edmondson and William E. Rawlings.
