James (Jim) Cirtis Blackburn, Jr., 67, of Baird died Tuesday, September 18, 2018 in an Abilene care center. No services are planned at this time.

Jim was born April 19, 1951 in Anniston, Alabama to James and Florene Blackburn. He graduated from Garland High School in 1969. He moved to Baird from Fort Smith in 2018 and was a Baptist.

Jim is survived by his mother Florene Hamilton of Baird; son, James Blackburn III and wife Shelley of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; daughter Janice Miller and husband David of Broomville, Arkansas; sister Belinda Whitaker of Canton and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, brother John Blackburn and daughter Frances Bukhard.
