Jason, 43, and Sheree Gray, 38, of Clyde passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 27, 2022, at the Clyde Lake Pavilion with Dr. Toby Henson officiating under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde. The service will be held rain or shine and please bring your lawn chairs. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Hughie and Shirley Gray's house, 717 PR 6020, Clyde.

Jason and Sheree began their love affair when they locked eyes in Fort Worth, Texas on July 24th, 2003. From that evening on, they built a beautiful family and strong foundation for their children.

JayMay Gray had one of the most amazing pallets. He was a phenomenal chef and could mix any ingredients and create a masterpiece. We will all miss his brisket, steaks, and his strawberry cheesecake. Jason was a gifted electrician taking over the family business, Gray Electric, in 2013.

At an early age, Sheree became a skilled baker and cake artist. Sheree was one of the best nurses our community could have asked for. For years, she had the honor of staying home and raising Jadelynn Nicole and Shaden Brooks. Later, after the kids were older, she went on to get her RN degree from Cisco College in 2012. While achieving her degree in nursing, she also kept books for Gray Electric and tried to keep Jason in line. Sheree was active in Clyde JR Livestock and secretary for 15 years for the Festival by the Lake.

One of their greatest joys in life was watching their children grow, cooking, and celebrating life with friends and family. Their legacy will last generations.

Jason is survived by his daughter, Jadelynn Nicole and son, Shaden Brooks Gray, both of Clyde; his parents, Hughie and Shirley Gray of Clyde; his sister April Patterson and husband Cody of Clyde; three nieces, CaLece, Ainslie, and Kallee as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and friends that became family.

Sheree is survived by her daughter, Jadelynn Nicole and son Shaden Brooks of Clyde: her mom, Teressa Gatzemeier and husband Dean of Mesa, Arizona; her father, Randi Brooks of Fort Worth; sister, Michelle Haney and husband David; their children, Hailey Woodard and William Madison of Abernathy; sister, Ashley Brooks and husband Clint; their children, Noah, Robbie, Dylan, and Colton Gibson, and Caleb Lassiter of Weatherford; sister, Tarrah Finlinson; her children, Cody and Nathan Abraneit, and Jurnie Bushong of Garland; sister, Kadelyn and Seth; their children, Amelia and Zepplin Riley of Fort Worth; sister, Samantha Brooks of Corpus Christi; brother, Travis Gatzemeier of Flower Mound; brother, Jeremy Gatzemeier and wife Emily of Houston; their son, Galen as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and friends that became family.
