Jeffery Lynn Hagar, 66, of Tye died Friday, August 7, 2020 in an Abilene hospital. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements by Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde.

Jeffery was born May 7, 1954 in Abilene to Clarence and Elvie (Beyers) Hagar. He graduated from Cooper High School. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for eight years. After his military service he became a truckdriver, working for many different companies throughout the years. He retired in 1999 due to health issues.

He is survived by his son Patrick Hagar of Tye; daughter Christi Moss and fiancé James (Lucky) McClelland of Alvarado; brother Michael Hagar of Abilene; two granddaughters, Ashleigh Moss and Kelsey Watson and numerous other relatives and friends.

Jeffery was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Heart Association.
